1. Government Process Reengineering for Digital Transformation

This award seeks to recognize innovative projects that involve analysis and re-design of workflow and has resulted in improvement in outcomes related to efficiency, effectiveness of process, cost, quality, service delivery, data analytics or a combination of these through a dashboard/an application including mobile Application. The impact of the re-engineering process should be a significant digital Transformation.

Scope of Awards Who can apply/compete Period of consideration
Total 4 Awards, 1 Gold and 1 Silver for Central level Initiatives and 1 Gold and 1 Silver for State/UT level initiatives i. Central Ministries/ Departments
ii. State/UT Government
The launch date of the project should be between 01.10.2021 – 30.09.2023.
The project must be fully commissioned and operational as on 01.12.2023.
2. Application of Emerging Technologies for providing Citizen Centric Services

This award seeks to recognize the projects that have resulted in providing universalized access including e-Services to citizens, the unique digital instance for all Government entities. The project proposals should broadly cover areas of status of accessibility, content availability, ease of use, information security & privacy, end to end service delivery, integrated service delivery and tracking of requests made for Delivery of Public Services.

Total 4 Awards – 1 Gold for Central level initiatives, 1 Gold and 1 Silver for State/UT level initiatives and 1 Gold for Startups i. Central Ministries/ Departments
ii. State/UT Government
iii. Startups as defined by Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) Government of India via Gazette Notification dated 19.02.2019 (https://dpiit.gov.in/sites/ default/files /notification_Definition_StartupIndia_06July2021.pdf )
The launch date of the project should be between 01.10.2021 – 30.09.2023.
The project must be fully commissioned and operational as on 01.12.2023.
3. District level initiative in eGovernance

This award seeks to recognize the district level e-Governance projects covering the area of redressal of Public Grievances and has resulted in delivering services to citizens’ through effective use of ICT in the Districts.

Total 4 Awards – 2 Gold and 2 Silver for district level initiatives Districts and Local Bodies The launch date of the project should be between 01.10.2021 – 30.09.2023.
The project must be fully commissioned and operational as on 01.12.2023.
4. Research on Citizen Centric Services by Academic/Research Institutions

This award seeks to recognize the exemplary research done in the field of e-Governance by Academic/ Research Institutions for the benefit of the citizen.

Scope of Award Who can apply/compete Period of consideration
Total 2 Awards – 1 Gold and 1 Silver for Academic / Research institutions
Gold and Silver Awards
Academic/ Research Institutions (Government and Non-Government) The launch date of the project should be between 01.10.2021 – 30.09.2023.
The project must be fully commissioned and operational as on 01.12.2023.
5. Replication of Top Technological Solutions / initiatives and Scaling up

This award seeks to recognize the replication of top technological solutions and scaling up

Scope of Award Who can apply/compete Period of consideration
Total 2 Awards – 1 Gold for State/UT level initiatives and 1 Gold for District level initiatives i. State/UT Governments
ii. District and Local Bodies
The launch date of the project should be between 01.10.2021 – 30.09.2023.
The project must be fully commissioned and operational as on 01.12.2023.

* Gold Award: The Gold Awards shall consist of (i) a trophy, (ii) a certificate and (iii) incentive of Rs.10.00 Lakh to be awarded to Department/Organization/ Institution to be utilized for implementation of project/programme or bridging gaps in any area of Public Welfare and a certificate for each team member not exceeding four in number (including Project Head).

*Silver Award: The Silver Awards shall consist of (i) a trophy, (ii) a certificate and (iii) incentive of Rs.5.00 Lakh to be awarded to Department/Organization/ Institution to be utilized for implementation of project/programme or bridging gaps in any area of Public Welfare and a certificate for each team member not exceeding four in number (including Project Head).
